Tuesday December 2nd saw the prestigious Radio City and City Talk’s Local Heroes Awards 2008 in The Royal Court. With the region’s star celebrities and a host of real life super Heroes turning out in force the event was a true celebration of the people that make Merseyside, North Wales and the North West great.Eleven awards were handed out to deserving winners throughout the evening, celebrating people who have touched the lives of those around them, either through their generosity, selflessness, talent, sheer bravery or entrepeneurial spirit.
